01   The challenge

Fragmented production created risk

Ryker was already manufacturing internationally. Production ran across several factories in different countries and time zones, each working to its own standard, and the Ryker team managed every overseas vendor directly.

Multiple factories

Different countries, time zones and production calendars.

No central standard

Fit, QC and material specs changed from one factory to the next.

Direct vendor management

The brand team handled every overseas vendor itself, across every time zone.

02   Our approach

One U.S. contact. Our team at the factory.

End-to-end management across sourcing, development, production, quality and logistics.

05   Material compliance

From material claim to verified process

Ryker specified a chlorine-free Merino wool treatment. BOMME turned the claim into a written manufacturing specification, then verified it at the mill and in the lab.

  1. 01

    Product requirement

Chlorine-free Merino wool treatment, specified by Ryker.

  2. 02

    Documented process

BOMME translated the claim into a manufacturing specification.

  3. 03

    Mill compliance

Material and finishing chemistry verified against the standard.

  4. 04

    Third-party testing

Independent QC plus laboratory verification and certification.

06   Quality control

QC does not happen from an inbox

Specifications and factory reports matter, but they do not replace watching the product being made. The earlier an issue surfaces, the less it costs to fix.

  1. Stage 1

    Material approval

    Incoming materials checked against spec.

  2. Stage 2

    Lab dips

    Color and dye samples approved.

  3. Stage 3

    Fit review

    Pattern and sizing verified.

  4. Stage 4

    Inline QC

    Quality monitored during production.

Line audits

Production reviewed against the approved standard, in person.

Early intervention

Stop a step, recheck measurements, correct trim placement.

Defect separation

Nonconforming units identified and isolated during production.

When an issue comes up   Issue identified → Technical analysis → Corrective action → Verification

07   Commercial leverage

Better terms keep capital inside the brand

BOMME's vendor relationships and purchasing history change the payment terms a brand can get, which keeps more working capital available to fund growth.

Brand working directly with one factory

  • Factory-set deposit and payment schedule
  • Limited negotiating history
  • Limited purchasing leverage
  • Brand absorbs the working-capital pressure

Brand working through BOMME

  • Established vendor relationships and purchasing history
  • Volume leverage and long-term supplier ties
  • Negotiated deposits, net terms and staged payments
  • Better cash-flow timing for the brand
